alpitecture is the South Tyrolean platform combining the Alps with technology and architecture.

„alpitecture“ is the South Tyrolean platform for the exchange of innovative know-how and expertise when it comes to architecture, technology, and the Alps; a catalyst for new challenges in the architectural scene. At the same time, the international architecture platform provides a link between architects and manufacturing companies to generate synergies in the field of architecture. „alpitecture“ has been an integral part of the architectural scene for years thanks to its informative presentations, excursions and congresses.

CODE 7-15

Excursions from 11 – 13 June 2015

Excursions from 11 – 13 June 2015:

This year, we are offering three separate alpitecture excursions from 11 to 13 June. These will be held in the following regions of South Tyrol that are characterised by modern and contemporary architecture: Bolzano, Puster Valley, and Eisack Valley. In the course of the tours that will take place in parallel, participants will be able to gather impressions from the scenery, architecture, culture, and economy. The participants can expect an inspiring experience that will be complemented with the alpitecture summit on 12 June.

All three tours are free, starting from and returning to Munich.

In the Museion/Bolzano on 12 June 2015

The 2nd alpitecture summit will take place on 12 June 2015. This congress will follow up on the subject of the alpitecture award – „tourism architecture“. One of the topics deals with the main idea behind the creation of successful travel destinations with an architectural appeal. What architectural features and impressions serve as a tourist magnet, and how can these be maintained as a popular destination for tourists over the years? Within this framework, renowned architects will talk about the topic of „tourism architecture“. These lectures will be complemented with the presentation of the top 10 submissions to the alpitecture award. The summit will end with the festive award ceremony of the competition.
